Body-jet Waterjet Assisted Liposuction in Southern California!
Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon, Leslie Radentz, MD, is now performing Water-jet Assisted Liposuction. This exciting new technology offers patients increased comfort, less pain, reduced down time, less bruising, less swelling, and optional fat harvesting for fat transfer. Now we can harvest a patient's own fat and inject fat where tissue volume is needed, providing an alternative to expensive synthetic tissue fillers.
Body-jet Waterjet Assisted Liposuction revolutionizes liposuction by incorporating a gentle pulsating fluid spray to dislodge fat, as opposed to the traumatic techniques of traditional fat dissection methods.
Individual results will vary, and not everyone is a candidate for this procedure, but for suitable candidates, Waterjet Assisted Liposuction offers many advantages over traditional liposuction. Dr. Radentz uses the "awake" technique, performing Waterjet Assisted Liposuction without the additional costs and hazards of general anesthesia.

THE LATEST IN LIPOSUCTION TECHNOLOGY: BODY-JET WATERJET LIPOSUCTION
OUT-PATIENT LIPOSUCTION AWAKE TECHNIQUE
Body-jet Waterjet Assisted Liposuction added to Cosmetic Services in Murrieta California.
Leslie Radentz, MD, Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon, is introducing Out-Patient Liposuction with Body-jet Waterjet Assisted Liposuction in Murrieta California. Waterjet Liposuction provides reduced "down time", much less pain, less bruising, less swelling and fewer procedural risks compared to traditional liposuction. Additionally, Waterjet liposuction affords optional fat harvesting for fat transfer, collecting the patient's own fat as a safe alternative to synthetic tissue fillers.

Individual results will vary, and not everyone is a candidate for this procedure, but for suitable candidates, Body-jet Waterjet Assisted Liposuction offers many advantages over traditional liposuction for removing stubborn fat.
Does Waterjet Assisted Liposuction offer increased safety over traditional liposuction procedures? Yes!
The usual hazards of traditional liposuction are reduced with the Waterjet Liposuction procedure. Blood loss from Waterjet Liposuction is usually minimal. A gentle fluid spray is used to dissect away the fat cells. To understand the concept of how the Waterjet sprays away fat cells from fibrous septations, visualize the fat as grapes on a grape cluster. Now imagine spraying the grapes off of the grape cluster with your garden hose. The grapes fall off, but the cluster stems remain in tact. Removing fat with sprayed fluid, as opposed to blind stabbing of fat with sharp liposuction instruments, avoids injury to fibrous septations, nerves, and vessels.
General Anesthesia is unnecessary for the Waterjet Liposuction procedure. Dr. Radentz uses the "awake" technique, allowing patients to talk, listen to music, or to observe as much of the procedure as desired. Patients remain comfortable with local infiltration anesthesia. Although tumescent anesthetic solution is used, the "tumescent method" is not needed for Waterjet Assisted Liposuction. Traditional liposuction method involves over distending the tissue with large quantities of anesthetic solution, distorting the fat tissue. The large quantity of tumescent solution needed for traditional liposuction poses some risk of lidocaine toxicity. Much less lidocaine is required for the Waterjet Assisted Liposuction procedure. Waterjet Liposuction does not require tense "tumescence" of the fat with lidocaine solution. Without distention from tumescent solution, the fat tissue remains in its usual position during Waterjet Liposuction, allowing for more accurate sculpting of unwanted fat deposits.
